On Saturday 21 September Bishop Marcus presided at a Mass for the Altar Servers of the Diocese in Leeds Cathedral.
The Bishop extended an invitation to all the servers in the Diocese, many of whom are members of the Guild of St Stephen, along with their parents and their parish clergy. After Mass they all adjourned to Wheeler Hall for lunch.
The Mass was an opportunity for the Bishop to thank the young (and not so young) people who week by week assist at Mass and other liturgies in parishes across the Diocese.
