Annual Diocesan Blessed Sacrament Procession – Sunday 15 May

The annual Diocesan Eucharistic Procession will take place on Sunday 15 May at 3:00pm at Hinsley Hall and you’re invited!

Parking will be available at Hinsley Hall where the procession will end. The procession will begin in the grounds of Mount St Joseph’s. The route is accessible for those who use wheelchairs. Parishes or schools attending are invited to bring a banner to be carried in the procession. Altar servers are invited to walk in the procession wearing their albs or cassocks and cottas.

The procession will be followed by a barbecue, ice creams and other refreshments as well as a bouncy castle, lawn games and a stall run by The Twelve, the Youth Leadership Team for the Diocese.

Unfortunately, there is nowhere for us to move inside if the weather is very bad. In the case of bad weather, please check the diocesan website and social media in the morning of Sunday 15 May, where information will be posted if the event has to be cancelled at the last minute.

There is no need for individuals or families to book in advance, but it would be helpful if any parish or school groups, or groups of altar servers, could inform us of their intention to come at evangelisation.admin@dioceseofleeds.org.uk.

Minibuses and a small number of coaches can be accommodated.

We look forward to seeing you there!
