As part of the 2025 Jubilee of Hope, All Saints’ Catholic College, welcomed pupils from Catholic primary schools across Huddersfield and Calderdale for Mass celebrated by School Chaplain Fr John Carlisle.
This included children from St Malachy’s (Halifax), Sacred Heart (Sowerby Bridge), St Patrick’s (Elland), St Mary’s (Halifax), St Joseph’s (Halifax), St Joseph’s (Brighouse), and the Huddersfield primary schools of St Patrick’s, Our Lady of Lourdes and St Joseph’s.
During their visit, pupils spent time in quiet reflection before the Blessed Sacrament and shared their schools’ prayer petitions. Following this, they took part in a Revelation session delivered by Stacy Rhys-Hill, Lay Chaplain at All Saints’, supported by students from the Chaplaincy Team.
David Hymas from the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy Trust (BPSCAT) said: ‘Thank you to Stacy for coordinating the day, and to Karen and the wider All Saints’ team for their support and for providing transport. I’d also like to thank all our primary school staff who gave their time to accompany pupils. Your time, effort and support helped make the celebration possible and ensured a meaningful experience for all!’
