Friars and Friends Face 3 Peaks Challenges: Can YOU Help?

The Friars and Friends of St Patrick’s Mission in Bradford need YOUR help for their Annual 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 7 August – and it’s not JUST sponsorship (although that will be good, too!)

In order to complete the 12-hour challenge safely, we need walk leaders, marshals and crucially First Aiders
– can YOU rise to the challenge and help them?

The walk raises crucial funds to support the ongoing maintenance and development of our inner city centre for Catholic Renewal, St Patrick’s Mission in Bradford.
It’s not for the unfit or faint-hearted (hence the ‘Challenge’!) – and it’s an early start in the Yorkshire Dales – but those who sign up as fit and determined enough to make the heroic 26 mile trek across the three highest peaks in Yorkshire in one day feel a real sense of achievement – and are helping to support all the work undertaken at St Patrick’s, from where the Friars run their soup kitchen and clothing bank for people who find themselves homeless and vulnerable on the streets of Bradford.
To join the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, members of the Friends of St Patrick’s Mission and members of the Diocesan Curia, on this Risk Assessed adventure – especially if you are a First Aider or experienced walker who can encourage and marshal others – please sign up here – https://www.stpatricksmission.co.uk/three-peaks-challenge-august
After signing up, the details on the day are: meet at 06.30 hrs on Saturday 7 August 2021 (first Saturday in August) at Farmers field car park BD24 OHF. Just 100 metres across the bridge from the Crown Hotel, on the right as you drive to the railway station from the Cafe in Horton village.
