The Diocesan Safeguarding Co-ordinator/Officer is Ms Suzanne Mitchell. She is a registered social worker with more than 20 years' experience of working within social care services including, most recently, working with both children and vulnerable adults in Bradford Social Services. She has previously worked with the School and Community Team at Catholic Care here in Leeds Diocese, and took up her present role in August 2008. The Administrator Stephen Hanslip supports the work of the Co-ordinator, provides administrative support to parish reps, and is the main Diocesan Countersignatory for CRB Disclosure applications. He was appointed to this role from 1 May 2006.
