Men who are thinking seriously about the possibility that God may be calling them to the priesthood need to take some time out from their ordinary affairs in order to listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit resounding within them. We are very fortunate in the Northern Province of England that Mgr John Marsland, the President of the provinical seminary, St Cuthbert's College, Ushaw, near Durham, organises three weekends a year to help in this process. Participants listen to some talks, have plenty of time for reflection, and join in the worship and the social life of the seminary. Men who are considering the priesthood in the Diocese of Leeds are all encouraged to join in these events. The dates of the next ones are given below.
