Friary Tonight on the BBC!

13th April 2017

Friary Tonight on the BBC! Friary Tonight on the BBC! Friary Tonight on the BBC! Friary Tonight on the BBC!

Tony Parker, of BBC Leeds and Executive Producer of tonight's BBC One documentary about the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal's work at St Patrick's Mission here in the Diocese of Leeds has sent us photographs of Fr Gabriel and Bro Joshua's interview on this morning's 'BBC Breakfast'.

Promoting the programme ensures as many people as possible will tune in and see for themselves Our Lord's work being done through the Friars' practical and spiritual help for the people of Bradford: especially those who are homeless, vulnerable, or in difficult situations.  The Friars are here at the Bishop's invitation and are breathing new life and joy into St Patrick's Mission, preserving the history and heritage of Bradford's oldest and now only remaining city-centre Catholic church.

Anyone who wants to support the work of the Friars at St Patrick's Mission in Bradford may do so via The Friends of St Patrick's Mission:

The full 'Breakfast' interview - which includes a tantalising clip from tonight's programme - can be seen on BBC iPlayer, between time-codes 3:07:19 and 3:14:25.  Look out for the Friars on tonight's 'Look North', too!

The transmission time of the documentary is now confirmed as 10:45 pm - tonight on BBC One.
