'Parenting Programmes: Leading with Confidence' is also available and works best done as a deanery package as in the Wakefield model of one Parenting Facilitator from each parish and one from each school working together in school or parish. Contact us to find out how it worked in the Wakefield Deanery where 19 volunteers, including parents and parishioners attended the 2011-2012 Accredited Training.

This course can be delivered without accreditation.

All pregnant women are very welcome to go along to the antenatal class at Choto Moni Children's Centre in Harehills. It is open to everyone, free and parents can just turn up, no need to book. They have baby clothing and equipment that parents can help themselves to.  It is a great community, something amazing.

The class runs every Tuesday from 12.30-3pm, the first 1.5 hours is group discussion and practice of phyiscal skills for pregnancy, birth and parenting and the last hour is more social when parents chat and get the sewing machines out so parents can make something for their babies ( all materials are provided).

 The address is:

Choto Moni Children's Centre,

Bankside Primary School,

Shepherd's Lane,

Leeds 8

See the poster for more details.
