The World Meeting of Families is held in a different part of the world every three years. This year it is in Dublin from 21st August to 26th August.
Pope Francis will be there for the last two days: Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.
See his full official schedule here.
Obviously the Pope will be travelling through Dublin at times during the 2 days he is there and people may catch sight of him in passing but there are two key moments when we will be guaranteed to see Pope Francis.
Here is a modified schedule showing all the events he will be at and the two that anyone can register to attend are highlighted:
- Festival of Families at Croke Park at 7.30pm Saturday 25th August
- Final Mass at Phoenix Park at 3pm on Sunday 26th August.
Everyone who wants to attend ANY event at the World Meeting of Families MUST BE REGISTERED (children go free with a Registered adult but must also be registered in their own right)
To register: go online to www.worldmeeting2018.ir/registrations
You can pay for a whole event (for all parts of all five days) or just for one day. The only event that is FREE is the 3pm Mass at Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th August but you MUST BE REGISTERED to attend the Mass too (it is free).
Go to the WMOF website for all information.
