For the past few weeks there has been a series of workshops around the Diocese to explore the partnership of Home School & Parish. Breda Theakston and Linda Pennington have been sharing ideas and resources to help schools, parishes and families in passing on the faith to our children. The workshop participants have been taken on a tour of ideas and resources to help with marriage preparation, baptism and first sacraments preparation and family relationships. We have explored ways in which the school and parish can work together to support and encourage families during the times of celebration and sadness and the many moments in between.
