Mission is traditionally associated with the Missions and Missionaries working in other countries, but missionary activity can happen in our own country too. Today there are many people, both at home and abroad, who have not had contact with the Church or opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ. Mission is not about ramming the gospel down people's throats, but about offering the gift of Jesus and his love with respect and courtesy.
