Closure of St Mary's School Bradford
In 2006 St Mary's Catholic Primary School federated with St Peter's Catholic Primary School in Leeds Rd. Bradford. Then when it was judged that the premises were unsafe, the pupils moved to the St Peter's Primary School site.
Since then the two federated schools have operated very successfully on the one site.
It has now been decided to combine the two schools. In order to achieve this St Mary's school is closing at the end of March 2009 and the remaining school is to change its name to St Mary's and St Peter's Catholic Primary School.
