The Diocese seeks the views of stakeholders on educational matters through the Diocesan Council for Education.

Representation on Local Authority Committees
As a stakeholder in education the diocese is entitled to have representation on certain Local Authority consultative committees. This is a right that the diocese safeguards by ensuring that representatives are appointed to vacancies promptly and that representatives attend meetings regularly. Any relevant information received from representatives of these committees is shared with Governors, parents and staff in our schools.
