Leeds Cathedral is one of the finest Catholic Cathedrals in England.

Saint Anne's Cathedral is situated in the heart of the Leeds city centre and contrasts with the surrounding new office blocks and the Victorian Town Hall.

The Cathedral is a place of silence and prayer which provides a refuge from the activity of one of Britain's busiest city centres. This atmosphere of peace has grown through the daily celebration of the Liturgy and every afternoon silent Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament as well as through the music of its celebrated choirs. This sense of God's peaceful presence is the chief glory of the Cathedral.

I hope all future visitors to Leeds will discover this newly restored great treasure of the Diocese and City of Leeds.
